MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Demon Carb
Anyone have any experience with the Barry Grant Road Demon 525 carb on a 3.9 or other BOP engine?

IMHO I believe it is too big unless you are extremely modified. The Barry Grant Demon carbs claim flow #'s higher then their size would indicate. For example my friend has a 68 AMX 390 that had a Holly 700 cmf double pumper (The 700 cmf carb was not too big for his application), he replaced it with a Demon 650 and the car runs better all across the RPM range. He did some extensive talking with the tech's at Demon...check with them.

I am using the Demon 525 on my 3.4 V6 Due to the manifold and our manifold top design, it had to be re-jetted from stock jetting to .070 did not wanted to modified the air bleeds etc. Great carb. For those who do not have experience tuning carbs then stay with the carter or Holley 390 cfm There is more than jets that have to be tune.
