MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Converting oil prssure to electrical

Has anyone converted the mechanical oil pressure system to a modern electric one and if so which switch was used. Help in identifying the thread in the oil pump base would also be usefull. Thanks.

I will go down this route eventually, and will use something like this :

Saves fiddling about down there where the take off is.
