MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Classic Conversions Coil Over kit for sale

Hi all,

I listed this kit a while back. I've sold the big brake kit & hubs so I'm now ready to sell the coil over kit by itself.

This kit is from Bill Guzman's Classic Conversions. For all practical purposes, it's brand new. The kit is awesome & there's nothing wrong with it. I installed it on my cross member, but it's never even been on the road.

Bill gets $1400 for this kit & it's worth every penny, but i'm not expecting to recoup the full amount, so make me an offer. I'm in Houston TX; if you're close enough, you can pick it up. Otherwise I can ship it. Shipping from CA to TX ran about $60. That included the brakes so it'll probably be more like $30 to $45 but if you're interested, I'll get an exact quote.

I posted it on the MG Experience board; here's a link to that post which has a couple of pics. The link is http://www.mgexperience.net/phorum/read.php?42,456986. I'm also happy to send additional pictures to anyone interested.

I'll sell it with or without a cross member -- i have the 302 modified RB cross member that's in the pictures and also a CB cross member that i could set up for this kit. (I also have a CB steering rack to make the swap easier).

In case you're curious why i'm selling it, I'm doing a 302 swap & moved my motor back further than most folks do. I did that in order to make room for some nice polished brackets, pulleys, an A/C compressor, the condensor, etc. In doing that i ran into a clearance problem with my steering rack. Rather than try to lower the rack & risk steering problems, I switched to Ted Lathrop's custom front end which was designed for the motor to be placed further back like i've done so it resolved my steering rack clearance issue.

If you're interested, let me know. You can reach me at robert.ficalora@hp.com.
