MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Altenator attachment

Can anyone let me know where i can get the Alternator attachments required to fit the alternator higher up than what i assume is the standard fitting which came with my engine, the way it is at the moment it will hit the chassis.

Hi Graham,

I had to buy Rover P6 alternator mount which does the job fine. About 20 quid off ebay. Is that what you mean?

Try to get the tensioner arm as well, which is both kinked and bent. Although they have recently become available as a separate item on ebay for 6.50.

The original SD1 mount is no good.
