MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - 2l e zetec engine

any one know much about the cast 2l e zetec engine .power torque have new ones ,with all the auxilarys and they even have the ecu and wireing ,or you could just stick carbs on .they told me it joins straight on th the seira gear box , is this a popular conversion .the engine is just under a £1000 thanks
