MG MGA - wire wheel adaptors causing wheel wobble
| Well, after much head scratching my local Brit car repair shop finally figured out why I had a constant wheel wobble at the back that eventually took out the right rear seal. The wire wheel adaptors on the back were not allowing the drums to fit on completely flush. They took them in to the maching shope across the street and had them taking down in size a little and voila! everything is fine. I thought it was bent rear flanges, but the axle is fine otherwise. So anyone else experience this with aftermarket adaptors? The did have "moag" stamped on them, but I don't know where they were purchased from by the PO. |

| Just to explain that a little better. The drums were not fitting nice and flat and so they would wobble putting a strain on the bearings, etc. so I guess the shop must've corrected the uneveness of the flat area of the adaptor plates. |
