MG MGA - Wiper motor wire

I have taken the wiper motor out of my 1957 MGA 1500. When I got it out I found a yellow wire coming out of the motor housing that has been chewed into by rodents. I know where the green, green/black and black ground go but where does the yellow go? Attached are a couple of pictures showing the short chewed wire. Where do I attach it and how?

Should connect to the parking commutator, inside the round cover on top. Notice the little hole in the round cover at front of picture. Reason this wire is on the outside is so you can rotate the cover to adjust parking position.
