MG MGA - Where to establish production date?

According to the chassis number my MkII's 50th birthday is coming up soon. I haven't been able to find an exact production date in any of my MG-litterature, but according to Clausager it should be about March or April.

Is there some kind of register where I can find the date when it rolled off the production line?

2012 is a very special year as the MG and I are having our 30 year anniversary together in April as well.

Anyone know how to establish the old girl's birthday?
