MG MGA - Tonneau zip
The zip on my tonneau cover is finally giving up. Does anybody know who supplies heavy duty zips suitable for replacing it in the UK?

You could try this Dan. http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-1019-black-zip-36-long.aspx

Dan, Mine was repaired by Oxted Trimming Co for about £40. They're in the centre of Oxted in Beatrice Road behind the small Sainsburys on Station Road East. They do a lot of work for the Caterham factory. Malcolm

It the teeth are still in place, but the slider will not lock the teeth together, most often the slider can be replaced with excellent results. Any competent canvas shop can replace the complete zipper. Look for a custom boat cover place. They may even have the slider.

I just ordered one online from "stan's sewing supplies" - a number 10 heavy duty 36" in brown or black. About $10 plus shipping - $19 or so total. JIM in NH
