MG MGA - TONNEAU COVER
I HAVE A NEW TONNEAU COVER. It is for an MGA but I have a buyer for it but he wishes to know whether it is a long or short. Can anybody supply the measurements for either one? Sandy

SANDY - My old Tonneau is the long style and measure 35" front to back at the zipper and 48" wide. It snaps onto the pegs behind the rear top rail, which are mounted on the tonneau body panel. If yours is this size and your buyer is looking for the short version, I may be interested. Fran

THANK YOU FRANK. I GOOFED. IT IS A COVER FOR AN MG TC. SANDY

Sandy, there are 3 available length tonneaus with the middle length most commonly referred to as "long". 1) fits to the wooden rear cockpit rail (this one also fits to studs in the top of the door skins) 2) fits to sheet metal about an inch behind the cockpit rail. ( no door studs) 3) this one fits to the same hooks that the convertible hooks to. (Sometimes referred to as the "long tonneau") Best define your top as where it mounts, as "long" may mean different things to different people
