MG MGA - Thread size on fuel tank outlet

Can anyone tell me what the thread size is for the normal outlet elbow on the fuel tank? I need to block this off with a cap, as my Honda S2000 conversion has the new outlet on the other side of the tank.

Try 3/8" BSP Male - 19tpi.

British Standard Pipe is the thread commonly used by plumbers over here although 3/8" is not so common. The 3/8" refers to the bore and not the OD................................Mike
