MG MGA - shut face panels welded?

I know that the shut face panels are screwed to the B pillar in two places at the edge flange, but are they welded anywhere, maybe to the rocker panel at the bottom?

Two small screws at the bottom edge, latch striker holds it on the face, and door seal covers the inboard edge.
