MG MGA - Shut face fasteners

My B pillar rebuild has got to the point where I need to install the fasteners for the bumper stops and for the 3 screws on the fender flange. Can someone tell me the correct threads for these? On the side three I propose to leave the drilling and tapping until the fender is in position, so will install a piece of 1/8 thick steel.
On the bumper stop screws, from what is left of my other B pillar, I see the holes are slotted. Why is this?
Also , is it self tappers for the borttom two (to the sill) and for the one in the top inside corner?

I used stainless steel.

Art.

The shut face panel on car has 2 self tapping screws at the sill and 1 in the upper inside corner. which is also used to secure the chrome finisher for the furflex door seal.

If i recall, the holes on my "B" post for the rubber door buffers are slotted. I belive this is for flexibility in lining up the hole in the shutface panel to the tapping plate hole on the door buffer assembly. These screws are 10-32 thread with a tapered head.
