MG MGA - Seats rebuild
I am making up the seat bottoms according to Barney's drawings. There are 3 wooden blocks shown attached to the underside of the ply base: one at the front and one each side at the rear. I guess these are to locate the seat base on the frame, but it seems to me that there is nothing stopping the base from sliding backwards.

The seat back keeps the bottom in place. In fact they are quite a tight fit to put in. Peter.

Peter, what happens when you tilt the back forward - is it a fight to get it back again? Do the two rear blocks sit within the seat frame channels?

The seat base is held pretty firmly by the blocks and doesn't move at all in normal use, including tipping the seat.
