MG MGA - Fender progress
Got my rear fender flange done (matches B pillar contour, door gaps OK and door profile matches. In addition got the 3 side screws and top bumper screw installed OK. Looking at the bottom of the SFP, it runs wide of the fender flange and a bit high (I think). I would appreciate some comments as I think I need to cut the SFP and move the bottom end inwards. Excuse the focus.

Another pic showing the height. I have yet to re-drill the hole for the bottom bumper.

Another - door gap

| I think you need to fit the sill cover first and get your lower door gap. You also have to match it to the rear wing. Then you will see where the bottom of the SFP needs to be. |

| OK good point, but I was thinking that, since the SFP is located vertically at where the striker holes are, that it is automatically linked to the door height, so should not be far off, but I will take your advice. My main point was, shouldn't the outer flange of the SFP sit tight laterally to the fender flange? And if so, looks like I need to cut and pull it in. |
