MG MGA - fender piping again

Does anyone know what the width of the bead on the fender piping should be? I have the MacGregor piping, which is supposed to be made "per original", but the bead just looks too big to me. I've measured it to be .260/.262 inch wide.

George, I can't answer that. And sorry for the thread diversion.

George, I have one piece of NOS BMC piping which measures 0.260 inch wide and 1.0 inch deep overall including bead.

Yes, there are pre-stamped holes.
