MG MGA - Exteme negative chamber!
| The car in this photo has a case of extreme negative chamber brought about by a broken swivel pin. This happened at our recent Khanacross and is the second such failure in just over 12 months in a group of about 10 MGAs. If you don't know the history of your front suspension get the swivel pin, stub axle etc crack tested. Mike

| Glad it was not a high speed road failure! Will be interesting to see close ups of the swivel pin. Anybody able to find the discussion we had a while back about these? FRM |

| This was my post on a similar matter last year http://www2.mgcars.org.uk/cgi-bin/gen5?runprog=mgbbs&access=&mode=archiveth&subject=6&subjectar=6&thread=201008180408184442 The owner of the car in the current post has decided to upgrade to MGB king pins, top arm and shockers - says this is cheaper than the upgraded B&G swivel pins and links (A$600 landed here) Mike
