MG MGA - early/late front wire wheel hub difference

Does anyone know the difference between the early 1600 front wire wheel hub (to 70275) and the late hub (from 70276)? These are listed in the Moss catalog as part numbers 264-720/264-730, which are no longer available, and part numbers 264-740/264-735, which are currently available. I am hoping that it may be only a difference of going from fine thread to coarse thread, although the earlier one uses 'studs,' which point outward and the later uses 'bolts' which probably insert inward. I don't know the production number of the car that my front hubs came from, although it has fine threads for the knock-offs and studs which point outward.

One uses bolts and one uses studs. Get the matching fasteners and you can swap hubs.
Barney Gaylord

Barney, thanks. I was hoping that it would be such a simple difference. I am ordering the appropriate bolts, lockwashers and nuts (parts 264-400, 324-040 and 310-075) to go with the later hubs. I had previously purchased 60 spoke painted wire wheels from Moss and had Allen Hendrix do the mounting and balancing. He said that I would be better off to put new hubs on also.
