MG MGA - Dodgy indicator
I have a dodgy L/H indicator. On activation i get just one flash from the dash warning lamp, very fast flashes on the front lamp and no light at all on the rear. Removed rear bulb and it tests ok. I'm about to go and see if there is power between the bulb holder and earth when turned on. Any ideas beyond a dodgy earth or a dodgy feed in the rear end wiring? regards Colin

Poor ground to rear bulb.

Colin, Most likely a poor earth but make sure the inside surface of the bulb-holder is making good contact with the side of the bulb. Sometimes corrosion breaks the continuity of the circuit here too. Malcolm

same happened with me - turned out to be the flasher unit (1600)

Thanks all, turned out to be a dodgy earth at the rear R/H wing cable bundle where it splits for each side. regards Colin
