MG MGA - Coupe trunk/boot

I have just taken delivery of a Coupe that has had a severe rear end shunt at some stage, and has been "bogged" to a huge extent ( I think that there are a couple of issues of a Texas newspaper in there as well!). The rear part of the boot/trunk floor has been pushed in as well. What was the differences between the roadster and coupe boot floor, apart from the bulge for the spare wheel, and the tyre hold-down clamp. If anyone has some pictures of the rear, from the clamp back, it will give me an indication of the damage that I have to correct. I have two roadsters, so I know the layout there.

The 1600 model Coupe has the closed bulkhead with the spare tire positioned farther back. The only difference in the boot floor is location of the stud for the tire hold down clamp. Otherwise all MGA use the same boot floor. The large dome bulge in the boot floor is to clear the differential on full axle bounce.
Barney Gaylord

Barney is correct (assuming that I understand him) in that coupe boot floors are the same as roadsters. 1600 coupes had a plain bulkhead (ie no aperture for the spare like a roadster) so the spare sat (awkwardly) further back and not over the "bulge" for the diff. The idea was to afford more room for luggage in the cab (behind the seats) and this works out well.

Gary, I've attached a picture of my MGA Coupe 1600 boot floor. I carpeted the floor so you can see the carpet on the boot sides. I think it helps with noise and stops items from moving around.

Andy,
The paint job in your boot looks better than those on the bodies of some of the MGAs around here!
