MG MGA - Badge bar

I have a new badge bar to fit, but it came with no other fittings, grommets etc. How does it fit?, surely there must be some washers.

I had to stack a few fender washers in there to make it tight. The mounting bracket is too narrow to fill the gap without them.

This is because space behind the overriders is large enough to accommodate both a badge bar and fog light brackets. When you install one without the other you need a spacer to make up the distance so the bracket will be secure. See here:
