MG MGA - Air filter, front or rear?

I am putting a project together, and I have decided to use MGA air filters. I need two without the breather assembly. My question is, which air filter on the MGA has the breather hose going in to the backside of the filter? Is it the front or the rear air filter?

Breather hose is connected to the front air cleaner.
