Bumpy n' horrible
Eric

Eric,

David seeks genuine feedback from those with experience of these things, not what you may have read in some trashy so called motoring publication ......

Any car with sporting pretensions , and that includes those highly regarded teutonic efforts, will be a compromise and yes, can be "bumpy" under certain conditions despite expensive gismos. When I read that the MGZS would be "bumpy" for many tastes I reserved judgement. Sure, there are times on certain poorer road conditions when the suspension is a little harsh, but as soon as conditions allow, all that disappears and the handling of this superb but still "ordinary" car is a delight. Had I, and no doubt many others payed too much attention to such comments, I may have missed getting a car which suits me almost perfectly.

Not all motoring media types have suspect opinions. Shortly after it was released, Jason Plato on a TV motoring programme stated with conviction that the MG ZS was the most impressive Front wheel drive car he's ever driven. This in direct contrast to what other journos had stated.....

Finally, if David is genuinely serious about this, suggest he does a round of the MG-R dealerships to locate a demonstartor and find out for himself. Finding out for oneself is always the best and most reliable option.

Hi john

thnaks for the info i have taken one fro a ride and it sees very similar to my zs and the softer std option just a bit smoother and less 'bumpy' over very rough surfaces, as i have just got rid of a zs i think i can live with the sports set up so have done the deal.

thanks
