MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - ZT subwoofer vibrations

I had a passenger in the back seat of my ZT190 the other day who complained about a 'metallic vibration'. I couldn't hear it from the front (but I'm fairly immune to this type of thing anyway).

However, on poking around in the boot I found that a quick tap on the subwoofer (H-K factory audio upgrade fitted) caused it to vibrate horribly, the problem being in where it's located at the leading edge. Root cause found....has anyone noticed the same and found a simple solution?
