MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - ZT 260 warning.

I have had a failure of the air con pump on my ZT 260. Pretty major actually!

The bearing on the AC compressor pulley was missing some balls and prpobably on the verge of failing, and inside the pump was full of swarf. This probably means a new air dryer too (at great expense) and at least a good clean out of the system.
No identification of what caused this total failure.

SO what can you guys do about it?
Keep the ECON button switched on during these never ending winter months! It disconnects the compressor. You won't need it until summer anyhow, if it ever comes... 3 degrees outside !!
