MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - ZT 190

Hi all i have just joined because i am looking into buying a 51 reg ZT and was just wondering are parts easily accessible for these cars and if so ae they dear with mg/rover no longer being in business? Also my partner likes the ZR model so if parts easy to get then she will be buying one of those.

Welcome to the forum, Danny.

I run an XPart AutoService Centre in Kent. Prior to the demise of MG Rover the parts distribution was transferred to Caterpillar, who use the XPart name for this part of their business.

Most parts are available for MGs and Rovers from XPart suppliers. The price of parts is creeping up, partly due to XPart having to get parts remanufactured. All general service and wear items are available. However, certain panels are in short supply, or not available. For example, the rear quarter panel for the Rover 25/ZR 3 door cars is currently not available.
