MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - ZS Speaker Upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade the speakers in my ZS saloon, both in the doors and parcel shelf but don't really know where to start. What size do i need? Are they easy to fit? and any other relevant advice would be gratefully received and appreciated.

Thanks in advance

The PO of my ZS had replaced the rear shelf speakers and made a right botch of it. The shape of the new speakers/baffle didn't match the hole in the panel which means much of the bass leaks round the edges instead of going in to the car. They had different terminals so he'd pushed wires into the harness connectors and wrapped round the speaker terminals, 'secured' with Sellotape! Even filling in the gaps and making proper connections I was still disappointed with the sound from a Kenwood multi-changer (is that standard or another after-market?). Eventually I wanted to use a USB flash drive with all my music (rather than being limited to 7 CDs in the system and loads more in the door so bought an Aldi Tevion at £40, and what an improvement!

Your best bet is to get at the existing speakers and aperture first, and make templates of the size and shape you need, then you can go shopping. As I recall I removed the rear shelf trim panel with speaker covers before I could fully get at mine.
