wot do I want?

long life plus masses of cornering and mountain grip that's wot.

anyone tried Yokohama? Had Avon before, lasted 17,000. Continentals on this car seeem lucky to get passed 7,000.

If you were in Australia, I would sell you Dunlop Direzza "M" compound tyres that you would love. But they are made in Japan, so probably not available in UK.

I stand corrected, they are listed in a UK catalogue I have - contact Daniel Jeffs on 44 (0) 121 359 6625, for your local supplier.

Used Yokos on my previous MGs ie. Monty Turbo.
Good grip, reasonable price but short life!

Elsewhere there is talk of TOYOS been very good grip and reasonable price, not sure how long they last.
