MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - wiring diagram

Help - anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for MG ZS 1.8 2005 - temp gauge not working and electric window not working, think it maybe a relay on drivers side as all others work. The motor works when put 12V through and goes up and down when polarity is reversed, switch is ok. Any info much appreciated. Thanks

Hi Teresa,

It sounds like you have a faulty relay in the SCU/BCU board which is located just forward of the switches in the console. I had this problem just before Easter and fortunately I was able to swap the driver's window lift relay on the board with the washer pump one. The relays are in pairs inside a small black box. As I did not have a rear washer pump - I have a 2006 TF135 - the failed relay did not affect my windscreen washer pump. The 5 pairs of relays operate the fogs & horn, washer pump front & rear, driver's window, intermittent wipe & superlocking, the final relay working the central locking. I believe someone in Southampton can repair the board. Have a word with Roger Parker at MGOC - he may be able to guide you.
