I think it just goes to show how much styling and presentation are so important when it comes to creating a car's impression. The customer looks at how a car is dressed and then forms an opinion about what lies within. I like the clean contemporary look of the Mk2 ZR and yet the front is less successful than the ZS. It seems there isn't enough going on to catch the eye, the detailing is all flat and two dimensional. Like the ZS, it needs some 3D moulding to make it stand off the page.

Sticking bits on to a car doesn't make it go any better, but it does make it look properly dressed for the job.
