MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - SRS light
| Hi, I've had an intermitent fault with the SRS now for some time and despite their best efforts my dealer appears to be more than a little bemused by it. It's going back in again this coming Tuesday for some further investigation. I've seen threads on the mg-rover.org forums about SRS faults but no remedies given apart from resetting the SRS which hasn't helped in my case. Perhaps I could offer them some advice that I may receive here. Mike |

| Mike Not sure what car you have, but my 75 did this twice, however it seems to have stopped in the last 20k miles. Suggest you contact James Edwards (01244 381246) and ask them what the cure is since it seems to have worked, touch wood. |

| Hi Martin, Thanks for the advice (I'll be honest, I never got round to phoning them). Anyway car went back today. I had made a passing observation to the dealer that because of my height (6'4") I do have to have the driver seat all the way back, so they increased the slack in the cable to accomodate for this and early signs are looking good. Anyhow I'm hoping for a couple of trouble free months now, in all my cars be in the dealers 9 times for really petty things (like this), then I think I'll kiss my warranty goodbye and start with the mods - first up the ITG induction kit when it comes out. | Damn I did it again ... it's an MGZS180, sorry. |

| Mike, We had this SRS fault on our ZS180, our dealer Carnelian fixed it immediately and said that it was a faulty connection within the passenger seat. Quite a common problem they led me to believe. If you or your dealer need to know more, phone 01743 460777 Carnelian will surely explain in more detail. |
