MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Sounds cammy

I was 'following' a Porsche Carrera this morning and after I had parked the driver, who used to race Triumphs, came over to me. He said that my engine sounded cammy - probably a dry valve.

I rather think he was talking out of his posterior.

I suggest he minds his own business.

Aparently not, the camminess was caused by low oil level. A litre of oil and the engine has quietened down considerably.
