MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Selling my ZT 260

Dear All

Due to change in circumstances blah blah, I think I'm going to have to sell my beatiful ZT260 (trophy blue, immaculate). It's got FSH, just over 20K miles, I will get a full three year service and MOT done next week. Previous owner was the MG Rover dealership (7K miles). Taxed until Dec 31 2007. Quick perusal of online used car price guides put a value around £10K.

Sorry for using this BBS as an ad, just wanted to know if anyone has any interest whatsoever, before I go to autotrader etc. Happy to provide as much detail as required on request.

Cheers, TED.

No responses so far, but no worries... I'VE CHANGED MY MIND.

I would only get £8K tops for the ZT260, so I will have to hang on to the beast for a while. No problem, still best car I've ever had just bloody thirsty!!

Happy new year, TED

£8,000 now and in my price bracket, but it's too cheap for you eh!
Jeff Patterson

I think so Jeff. My issue is that I've changed jobs and my mileage will go up. I wondered about getting a diesel or something (aaargh), then realised that the cost to change would be the same as a couple of years fuel for the ZT, so I saw sense. Had the car serviced and MOT'd today (3 years, £300 not bad), it's running really well - I reckon you could pick up a younger model with SE trim for a good price, why not?

Keep it Ted

21-22 mpg isnt basd for such a beast is it?

ok it costs me a fortune in rear tyres but that's due to my Tokyodrift behaviours
