MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Rust Check ZR/25

Check for rust on the hatchback hinges. My dealer wants my car back for 2 days. It's a known problem.

A bit worried that hairline rust was being petty, but this time saying something was the right thing to do.

Having pointed out this problem to my dealership back in April,I am still waiting to see what they are going to do about it. I have looked at several other ZRs only to find that the original ones had some sort of padding or foam buffer between the frame and the hinge. This was subsquently excluded from later models, giving rise to the current problem. When the dealership checked their stock,even cars only a month old where showing signs of the same problem!!
