MG Mad

Just a warning...The guy appears to be selling just the head unit. To make it work you need the navigation box that holds the map CD, giro and processor. Also the aerial might be useful but this is built into the car. You will need the CD changer to make it work and suspect you can only get the BMW branded version of the Alphine unit.

Finally it is not the unit fitted in the 75. The unit in the 75 has no cassette..

I see he bought it on e-bay. Suspect he has realised he has made a terrible mistake and is looking for someone else to fund his error.

Cheers

The Rover unit has a tape deck. Looks like the Rover unit (there's no BMW branding on this from the picture)

I agree with Patrick that you will the navigation computer, CD.

James

I am going mad....of course the Rover unit has a tape - I have just never used it.

Another point - the 75 has a single wire loom for the whole car and their are a huge variety of looms. (as I read in Ann's article on the build of his 75 Tourer..) The one fitted in each car is dependant on the on the spec of the car. The chances are therefore that if the car was not orginally spec'ed with Sat Nav the chances are the wiring loom will not support a Sat Nav.

Cheers again
