MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Oil Level

Am i reading the dipstick wrong as I have a new ZS180 that now done 2000 miles and on looking at the dipstick it apears to have no oil. There is a small amount of oil but its well below the min line.

The KV6 Is notorious for oil high consumption in the first few months from new. Keep a VERY close eye on levels, I had to have new tappet sets fitted at 3k because of a similar problem.Get your dealer to check it out.
