MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - New Set of Boots (Tyres) - which ones
I am looking into getting some new boots for my ZS120+. Can anyone recommend what to choose - and if you know my area - where to buy. I have the 205/45 R17 wheels. I obviously want good grip throughout the season, but do not want too soft a tyre as i am looking for durability and do not want to change my tyres after every trip to tescos :o) For an idea of my driving style - i take the MG racing heritage seriously, and love taking advantage of the cars stablity and performance :o) (I am 34 going on 17) Obvious choices are... P ZERO SYSTEM Asimmetrico 205/45 ZR17 88W RF Pilot SPORT 205/45 ZR17 84Y But can anyone recommend a good all round tyre - not cheap and nasty, but not a bank breaker. Is it worth buying online and getting them fitted at a garage? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks ^Demon^

How about Toyo Proxies? Good all round tyre with excellent grip? Probably a damn sight cheaper than what you mention above! Gary

Buying online can be cheaper, but the tyrefitters charge will knock any savings on the head! EBLEY on Histon Road did me a pretty good deal on Pzeros, prior to them Kingsway tyres by the Q8 Garage, Elizabeth Way, or Cambridge Performance Tyres, on Clifton Road Industrial Estate. Haggle with all three to secure the best price on what ever you decide to buy. Kelvin
