Rover 75 owners worried about keeping their car on the road now have a helping hand thanks to a new Haynes manual.

The latest home maintenance book from the DIY gurus covers the Rover 75 and MG ZT models, of which there are more than 100,000 on British roads.

Haynes says it has produced the book in response to concerns from owners about getting their car properly serviced after the collapse of MG Rover in April 2005.

The manual covers all aspects of keeping a 75 or ZT running, from simple MoT preparation to a full engine rebuild, and costs £18.99.

Does this cover the very different ZT260s?

I am probably the only ZT owner who isn't even remotely interested in these manuals. In my experience, Haynes manuals of the last 10 or 20 years are of particularly poor quality, with errors, and usually don't touch useful areas such as trim removal and electrical diagnosis.

Better off with the factory manuals IMO.
