MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Mondello and more

Last weekend I was at Mondello Park for the BTCC racing, and what an exciting weekend it was too!! After travelling across te Irish sea in the ZS180 I stayed for a weeks holiday in a very comfortable cottage in County Kildare. Covered quite a few miles in all a round trip of 1500 miles (fultless miles).

There are some great driving roads in Ireland, but also there are some very poor quality roads too. But the low traffic levels and zero speeds cameras ( a couple of signs, but no camera) more than made up for the poor roads surfaces!.

One other down side, locals have little respect for their cars or other peoples, and I picked up a battle scare in a car park in a small town. The people are very friendly except when it comes to accepting responsibility for damage caused when swinging a door open!!

On a plus! fuel cost are cheaper, at 0.90 euro which is about 60p a litre :-)

I look forward to exploreing Ireland again in the future.

BTW the ZS180 turns lots of heads in Ireland just like here at home! :-)
