MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - MG ZT Electrical Problem
| I have a 2002 MG ZT the central locking operates on its own, the indicators flash and the horn beeps. Any ideas how to solve problem. Please help. |

| You mean as if you had operated the remote? Is this anywhere, any time or only particular places or times? I know certain radio systems in the vicinity can cause the opposite problem i.e. cause your remote to *stop* working and/or immobilise the car until it is pushed a few yards, maybe the opposite is true as well. If it's not that then the ECU may well be faulty, maybe dampness (blown snow?) or condensation got in. FWIW on my ZS180 the horn only sounds if one of the doors, boot or bonnet isn't shut properly when I operate the remote to lock the car. |
