MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - MG ZR TD
Hi all. Just considering supplementing my MG Maestro 2.0i with a ZR TD 115+ but was wondering if anyone can give me their opinions of this car? Having not owned a diesel before I was wondering if this motor had a swift turn of pace? Also I see that those special offers have finished now at MG Rover where you pick your offers, are they still willing to do pretty decent deals? Cheers

Dale The Priviledge Discount Scheme is still available through various forums and clubs, so you could get a pretty good deal that way. One thing I can tell you, though, a ZR TD caught me napping once, and his acceleration in the outside lane was quite impressive and meant I had to drop a gear or two catch up! HTH

....but compared to other modern diesels, the ZRTD is very 'agricultural' believe me!

Oh right thats interesting, cheers Martin. Whats the crack with this priviledge discount scheme? Do I qualify as a member of MG M? How do you go about getting this discount and is there any set amount you get off or is it a case of how good a mood the dealers in?!
