MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - MG ZR brakes

Hi folks. My daughter's 02 ZR needs the brakes looking at.I can easily check on the front but can anyone give me a steer as regards getting into the back shoes.I suppose its the same set up as (don't laugh, a Nova ie floating independent back hubs so you have to remove an outer bearing(?)).Can anyone tell me a.the size of the hub bearing outer nut b.the Imp torque setting for tightening back up c. is there a floating washer at all that has to be able to move slightly d.is there anything special about(I presume you have to change)the split pin ie do I have to go to an MGR dealers,or somewhere special,to get new split pins e. is there anything I ought to watch out for in the procedure of taking off and putting back?.Any advice would be appreciated.Mose

Hello Mose

It maybe better to go to Xpower Forum, there may be more people there who have ZR's.

Although we previously had a ZR for 2 years, and I've had my current one for a little over a year, I must admit that I've never had a look at the back brakes. I suppose that if I keep this one long enough I may need to at some stage though.
