MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Insurance
| If you join the MG club do you get any kind of insurance discount from any companies? My mate has an MX5 and his club gives him discount insurance. It is just that I have only been driving around 6 years so this bumps up the insurance - even though I am 34 so I have always been a named driver on my wifes insurance (no jokes please). We currently insure with e-sure who are lovely and cheap. BUT, I want to install an induction kit to my ZS120 and if I do this e-sure will not touch me. So I would like to leave e-sure and go somewhere else. Cheers Demon |

| <<If you join the MG club do you get any kind of insurance discount>> What MG club are you thining of joining? There are several. Some clubs are affiliated with insurance companies and some insurance companies will offer discounts to club members. Get a copy of MG Enthusiast or Total MG and you'll see their ads. However with no NCB, you will have to pay a bigger premium for a modified car. 6 years on your wife's policy won't get you much of a saving. You could also try the companies that advertise in magazines like Fast Car and Revvs. These companies cater for people with modified cars and poor/no driving records. |
