MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Heated mirrors

Hi

OK, most of us woke up to a hard frost this morning. My journey to work takes about 10-20 mins, should my mirrors have de-frosted by then with the mirror heaters on on my ZS? Are my heaters broken, or are they just crap? The heater appeared not to have touched the frost at all!

I cannot remember how effective they were during winters past.

you should have cleared your mirrors before setting off

You should see the frost start to melt and steam shortly after you have turned the ignition on. Mine have defrosted by the time I have scraped the windscreen. Sounds like they are not working!!
