MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Full-flow oil filter conversion

Our ZA is a very early car, so it has the partial-flow oil filter. I would like to convert to the full-flow system, as on the MGA, B, etc. It looks fairly obvious to do this. It appears that I only need to machine an adapter for the oil-pipe connection to the rear of the block. But, are the oil-passages from the filter head to the galleries adequate to rely on this source of supply to adeqautely lubricate the engine? Has anyone done this? What advice do you have?

I would re-post this item in a pre-war subjects thread, the people that read this subject thread in the main have ZR/ZS/ZT/ZT-T made 1999 onwards, although we do have some very knowledgeable people on here that may come up with their thoughts.
Hope you get your answer
Regards Mike.

I think the Magnette section would be more appropriate.
