MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Fog light or air duct?
I have a ZR 160 and am toying with the idea of fitting a better cold air feed to the airbox than the current setup. The problem as I see it is the lack of space for a cold air duct to reach a suitable feed point - either forward of the box or underneath the box. Has anyone worked it out without buying expensive kits? I thought a possible solution may be to replace the nearside front foglight ( which I am disappointed to see is allowing moisture in and condensing on the inside of the glass) with an air scoop that I have seen on other Rover 25/200 's. Does anyone know if this would work before I try it?

MGR/WSR do it on their BTCC ZS's

Would the air duct have to be replaced by the lamp before MOTing?

George - I wouldn't have thought so, front foglights are optional, and IMHO a useless and mostly cosmetic boy racer feature.
