MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Door trim removal

Does any one know how to remove the door trim panel off a ZR? My son wants to fit better speakers but the window winder doesn't want to come off and there doesn't seem to be any srcews or clips securing it. Also, as far as I can see, the door pull handle hasn't any obvious screw fixings
Thanks in advance

Haven't got a clue. Sorry pal. Actually the window winders are attached with a small circlipy thing for which you need a special tool, sort of shaped like a big bread bag clip. You slide it between the boss of the winder and the door trim. In leiu of that, just hack at the f*cker with a thin knife. The little plastic clip will either stay with the winder or will be launched into orbit. The winder will come of the spline easily.

Anyway, are you so weak that you let your son get what he wants? Jesus, if you keep on letting him get away with such impudence before you know it the little bast*rd will be hocking all your valuables to buy drugs. Give the little imp a cuff behind the ear and you'll never need to buy new speakers.

Whoops, somebody left the Flame Wars door open and our pet sweetie, Jonsey, escaped.

HEHE How I love Jonesey's replies! Keep up the good work!
