MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Buying MG ZR 160?

Thinking of buying a 1-2 year old MG ZR 160 1.8 VVC, can you let me know the pro's and con's. After seeing the MGF 1.8 problems in the past (Head Gasket)I am a bit wary! Any info would help.

the front-mounted K series saloons do not show anything like the incidence of HGF found in the F, therefore IMO no need to worry on this account.

In addition to David's advice, just check all those things you would on ANY used car. 1-2 year old cars should be relatively problem free but ANY car can go wrong, particularly if not looked after.

If you are one of the many lazy car owners 'who never check nuffink' until it goes wrong, it will be wise if you change your ways....;-)

Be lucky in your serach. There's some nice ones about.
