MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Alarm problems

The alarm on my ZR keeps going off, it's done it four times now, usually within 5-6 hours of turning the alarm on. It's just under a year old, but obviously has no warrenty. I'd normally just shrug my shoulders an put up with not turning it on (I'm all too used to things not working) and just locking it with the key. But I've also got a Marcos that needs a new chassis and was hoping to sell the MG to pay for it.

Bit of a long shot, but, has anyone had a similar problem? Know what I can do?

The alarm system used in the F, and I assume the Zs as well, is known to be susceptable to interferance from mobile phones, police/taxi transmitters and microwave ovens.
