MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - 3 Year service

Hi,
My 04 ZS180 has only done 16,000 miles in total, 5,000 miles since the last service. It's had an easy life and is running fine.
I was thinking of just changing the engine oil and air filter this time myself. And missing a garage service.

Is this a bad idea. Would/should a non-specialized garage perform any other important service item that shouldn't be missed?

Any advice would be appreciated.
